Mt. Pisgah's Tara Bed & Breakfast is situated on land owned by the Walters family since the mid 1800's. The current owners are sisters, Nelba and Paralee Walters, descendents of pioneer Wade Hampton Walters.

Mt. Pisgah community is approx. 4 miles south of the city of Canton. Established in 1848, the name was chosen from the Bible which alludes to the mountain from which Moses viewed the promised land.

All this history, nestled in a beautiful country setting, is appreciated in this very clean 2 bedroom home.
Makes for a great quiet retreat after a day of shopping.

Must rent entire house. Individual room rental not available. Designed for one group of 4 or more.

Mt. Pisgah's Tara Bed & Breakfast is not designed to comfortably accommodate children or pets.
We are pleased to provide our guests with a smoke free environment.

First Monday Weekend Rates:
$100.00 per night for 2 people. For groups larger than 2, per night rates are $85.00 for the first 2 people plus $25.00 for each additional person.

Off Weekend or weekdays:
$65.00 per night for 2 people. $20.00 for each additional person.

$50.00 deposit required for first time guests. Cash or checks with ID accepted.

Each bedroom is furnished with two twin beds each warmly decorated and completely furnished. Clean and spacious bathrooms are a welcome accommodation.

Spacious Kitchen and dining areas provide ample room for our guests. Kitchen is completely furnished including all cooking utensils.

The Patio Table, located just outside the bedrooms, is an added feature not found in most Bed & Breakfasts.


Our Living Room is spacious, comfortably furnished, and very clean. New Sofa & Tables, TV, DVD will make you feel at home.
