Guidelines

As a current vendor, you have previously agreed to a set of guidelines. Please refer back to this page to keep abreast of changes to the guidelines.

Recent updates have been issued for Arbors and Other pavilions. New Guidelines will be forthcoming for Outside vendors.

 

Arbors Guidelines

  1. Management can rent spaces only to vendors who follow the vendor guidelines, pertinent federal, state and local laws and exhibit appropriate behavior.

  2. To retain your space, make a payment for the next market (check or money order) by Friday after the current market. Include space number with payment. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the office to return vendor passes.

  3. Wednesday is set-up day. Vendors with hang tag may enter through the City of Canton gates.

  4. Thursday is considered a retail day and all vendors are expected to be open for business and ready to sell until 5:00 p.m.

  5. Sunday, vendors may start pack up/tear down no earlier than 4:00 p.m.; no vehicles in buildings before 6:00 p.m.

  6. Vendors may not set up beyond the boundaries of space(s) assigned.

  7. Vendors must have a current Texas Sales Tax permit to sell at this market. To obtain one, click here or call (800) 252-5555.

  8. Vendors may not sell: guns, ammunition, animals, alcohol, tobacco, or "knock off" merchandise. Food or drink sales are reserved solely for food vendors.

  9. Vendors must notify the office (903) 567-3037 as soon as possible if unable to attend. Only one miss is allowed per 12 month period and rent must be paid in order to guarantee space. No-shows may lose their space.

  10. No alcohol is permitted on market grounds.

  11. Vendors are required to set up each month. No other vendor may set up in your space. You may miss only once during a 12 month period. Rent must be paid to guarantee space for the following month. Vendors must notify the office as soon as possible if unable to attend.

  12. No subletting is permitted.

  13. Remove all trash from your space(s) and take to the nearest receptacle.

  14. Vendors can not add to or change what is sold without prior approval from management.

  15. The market and its owners are not liable for any personal injury or property loss caused by theft, calamitous weather or accidents. Vendors must maintain their space(s) in a manner that protects the safety of themselves and the shopping public.

  16. Good customer service should be utilized by all vendors.

  17. Vendors and their employees must read and follow all Vendor Guidelines in order to remain a vendor at this market.

  Thursday-Saturday > 8-5 Sunday > 8:30am - 4:00pm


Pavilion Guidelines
(Original I, II, III, 4000/4500, 6000/6500)

  1. Management can rent spaces only to vendors who follow the vendor guidelines, pertinent federal, state and local laws and exhibit appropriate behavior.

  2. To retain your space, make a payment for the next market at the office during the market or mail payment (check or money order) by Friday after the current market. Include space number with payment. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the office to return vendor passes.

  3. Vendors must have a current Texas Sales Tax permit to sell at this market. To obtain one, click here or call (800) 252-5555.

  4. Vendors should be set up and all vendors are expected to sell Friday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Vendors are encouraged to be open Thursday 9:00 - 5:00 as this is a busy shopping day. Vendors who do not open Friday through Sunday risk losing their space.

  5. No alcohol is allowed on the grounds.

  6. Vendor spaces are rented to the applicant only. No subletting is permitted.

  7. Vending must occur from rented spaces. Vendors may not set up beyond the boundaries they are assigned.

  8. Vendors can not add or change merchandise without prior management approval.

  9. Due to concerns with overloading circuits, electric heaters and compressor-type AC units may not be operated in the booths. Propane heaters, fans, and "swamp coolers" are allowed.

  11. Only food vendors may sell food or drinks, including canned or bottled.
